So intoxicated, you’ve been like this for days

Yet you find a way to say, you and tipsy have never met

I guess there is some truth to that

It is usually a brief meeting I bet

The alcohol gets way over your head

I fear daily I’ll find you stone cold dead

I understand you feel your life is a mess

But if you could take some time

To free your emotions and just have rest

You’ll find that your soul knows you best

Although these times might appear dark

I’m pleading you to claim back your colorful heart

So we can find a new canvas to start
