Torpefying Sensations

Paralyzed

By Sara ChieffalloPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

Lingering sounds of nostalgia overwhelming the mind like a tsunami

Creating chaos in the midst of reality, as complexities intensify

Thoughts consistently clutching onto layers of imagery

Leaving every feeling of serenity into a questionable abyss

Consciousness begins to suppress any sense of true belonging

As routine develops into a squandered sense of substantiality

Chaotically pushing your soul into a deep layer of madness

While a relentless instability makes you dive into severe psychosis

There is a deep and crazy method in this superfluous life

A method built upon idiotic ideas which spread through anxieties

Concerns build upon the deeply ingrained psycho-semantic lies

Primarily letting go as we are thrown into an alternate universe

Shutting off the senses and saying goodbye to this madness

Good riddance, as my feet make their way back home...

About the Creator

Sara Chieffallo

Constantly having that “tip of the tongue” feeling, or being able to flesh out thoughts in your mind only to have them come stumbling out when you speak can be frustrating. Regular writing can keep this from happening.
