Tomorrow Just Called in Sick

Tomorrow just called in sick. Says he’s

not showing up.

He asked Saturday to cover for

him - but that’s going to work.

Monday said no, and Tuesday told

him to fuck-off, still owes him

from the last time.

*

So, we’re skipping tomorrow altogether.

And going straight to the weekend.

Nights out, parties, hangovers,

and late-night reruns

of Saw I through IV.

*

Friday's gone.

So, wrap things up.

Tell the boss. Call your

Mom and change your plans,

tell everyone you’re sorry.

*

Send the kids to grandma’s,

cancel all the meetings and

head home a little early;

tomorrow is on the mend,

nothing more to be done.
