{It has now been one year and six months since my son left us... and I feel lucky for loving, right alongside the never-ending ache of missing him.

Magnetic poetry is a type of meditation for me. Finding words that resonate. Finding the ones I think go along with those words. Ending up with what I have in my tin that matches the feeling (even if they are not the words I thought of originally).

Much like life--taking the best option from what is possible. This life I am leading is not the one I imagined. Not even close. But I do my best, each day, to choose the closest thing to the feeling I'm after. 💙
