To those who truly care,

I would like to thank you

for all the things you do

to support me,

to encourage me,

to love me

with the deepest love

a human can love,

by raising me above,

and giving me something

to be proud of.

For all the little things you know about me.

For all the “how are you”s.

For all the laughs.

For all the triumphs.

For all the great surprises.

For all the overwhelming care.

It’s honestly so rare,

but you continue to provide it

just by being there.

For all the times I’ve cried.

For all the times I’ve laughed.

For all the times I’ve said I hated you.

For all the dumb things I’ve done.

For all the dumb things I’ve yet to do.

For all the times I’ve not come through.

For all the times I’ve scared you.

For all the times I’ve surprised you.

For all the times I failed.

For all the times I’ve fallen.

For all the times you’ve helped me up.

For all the times I wasn’t quite there.

For all the times we’ve spent together.
