To See

is one thing, to know is another

to see the flesh of my delusions

you must first taste my dreams

to venture into my nightmares

you need to hear my screams

in order to see my pains and agonies

you will need to list my sins

endings are relatively easy

that’s where everything begins

to see everything that has ever been

or possibly ever will

and everything that has just ever sat there

and pretended to be real

if you want to see pools of my destiny

look deep and hard into my eyes

there may be fears and mystery

but they would never field any lies

to see the fuel of my desires

you must taste my madness first

how do you know, what my best is

until you’ve seen my worst?

to see the flesh of my confusion

you need a piece of me in you

watch it all spin as you let me in

watch it relent then feel it pursue
