You knew I'd come back to you

It’s been far too long

And I’ve fought the urge to do so

But I can no longer fight this

I need you

The way you listen to my pain

Absorb my sorrows

Take on my horrors like no one else can

Everything just flows with you

I knew I could never go against you

I told you I’d make it on my own

I didn’t need you no more

You just sat back in the darkness

Creeping

Waiting

Watching as I slip up time after time

You know I’d need you again

You decided to stick around

Well I got things to say

Stuff to get off my chest

More sorrows, more horrors

See I’ve changed a lot since the last time

When me and you was a thing

I just hope you’re ready

To help clean up these messes I’ve made

You wont let me just walk back in

I have to beg and plead

On my knees

Just so you’ll take me back

Well……

Pen and Ink, poetry

I never should have left you

I wasn’t ready for this world

Thinking I could handle it on my own

I’m on my knees

Begging just like you want me to

Poetry take me back

Here I am

Cause I am not me

Without you
