In honor of a father's love so true,

I'll craft a verse that speaks of you.

A guiding light, a steadfast soul,

Your presence makes our spirits whole.

*

With every step you took beside me,

You taught me how to be my pride.

Through trials faced and battles won,

You showed me how to overcome.

*

Your hands, so calloused, strong, and kind,

Were always there, a shelter to find.

In your embrace, I found my peace,

A sanctuary that will never cease.

*

Your wisdom, like a beacon's glow,

Illuminates the path I go on.

You shared your stories, life's great time,

And taught me lessons to guide me high.

*

You stood tall, a pillar of might,

In storms, you shielded with your might.

Your courage echoed in every stride,

Inspiring me to face the tide.

*

The laughter we shared, the tears we shed,

Moments cherished within my thread.

Your love, a flame that's burning bright,

Through darkest hours, a guiding light.

*

Today, on this special Father's Day,

I bow my head and humbly say,

Thank you, dear father, for all you do and did,

For shaping me into the person I became.

*

In your footsteps, I proudly trace,

Hoping to honor your sacred space.

Forever grateful, I'll always be,

For the gift of having you as my father.

*

So, here's to you, my hero, my guide,

May joy and love forever reside.

Happy Father's Day, my dearest father,

In my heart, your legacy will be forever.
