Taking advantage of someone because you envied their glow is just a true example of what your heart needed to know

Your heart needed a pulse from your lack of considerable impulse

You breathed me in and breathed out your pain while I sat here wondering what on earth had happened only to circle myself in vain

I’ll take the steps that I once used in memory of you and redirect them towards a new path where we are unglued

You never won, but you will soon see

You only lost yourself in this game of self-pity
