To love.

To love is to decide,

Upon the one that never parts,

Until death would separate,

With love that stirs from two hearts.

To love is to confirm,

Despite how impossible to conceive,

That two souls will remain steadfast,

And they strive to then believe,

To love is to be faithful,

Dedicated, not to swerve,

Not to lord it over or manipulate,

But humbly, serve.

To love is to endure,

Despite the fights that may come about,

The conflict and the trials,

That cause confusion and doubt.

To love is to care,

To affectionately tend,

To reaffirm and confirm,

To be the one you call, friend...
