To Let Sunlight Shine

After dark

Moonlit tracks,

shadows loom large.

Let those specs

illuminate

your march.

-

How often

do we soften

our view

such that we can pursue

what we really

wish to do?

-

I may pursue to outdo you,

chew coke

just to screw you

end up broke

cause I knew you.

-

Let's go back

to a time

that I wish

still was mine

to let sunlight shine

on a spotless mind.
