To Disney World From The Comfort of Home

1. Pinocchio (tanka)

A living puppet

with a long, pointy nose that

grows as long as a

peach-coloured pendulum that

sticks on his fat, rosy-cheeked face.

2. Minnie Mouse (haiku-chain)

Pretty like a doll

clothed in ballet-slipper pink

and vanilla white.

Her smile lights up

every single room in the

small wooden clubhouse.

She's lovely as a

dancing and singing princess

caked in confetti.

Her polka-dot bow

is her little crown that she

won't take off her head.

Her taffy pink shoes

shine like a freshly washed car

and a rose quartz gem.

3. Rapunzel (mirror cinquain)

Inside

the grey tower

watching the clouds dance

around the sunny summer blue sky

today.

Long hair

up in a braid

that's as shiny as a

golden chain you use to climb up

and down.

4. Cinderella (tanka)

Swaying to the sound

of the breezy summer wind

Tiny butterflies

fly and follow her to the

baby blue palace.

5. Mickey Mouse (cinquain)

Happy

A lively mouse

With the heart of a sweet

Magical, charming and stunning

Child.
