To Die-Droll

Buds bloom, the tongue tastes honeysuckle’s secrets.

Dappled dew drops deftly, dutifully deliver delight, alight.

Bird chirps’ chatter scatter crows amongst the crumbs.

Youth flurry for food, flight fought with broken wings.

Feathers tender, resignation to the ground.

Sky’s ceiling, cirrus out of reach.

Beseech for reason.

Is this treason of will determined by birth or merely mirth?

Man plans, gods laugh.

Dice roll.

To die - droll.
