To be your own person
In a life filled with versus
To compete against no one
In a life that tells you to show them up
To appear strange to the world
Yet, know your happiness is yours,
along with your worth
To let your character shine
Even through trying times
To be genuine and unique
Is such a treasure to me
Along with its own rarity.
