mœræ measured their threads at the corner of fleet

and exeter, and atropos got busy.

one-hundred-seventy pounds of body

and eleven pounds of head (skull, eyes,

teeth, brain, facial muscles, and skin,

all holding weight outside of

extension) came to rest

in the dog days of

that summer i

seem to

leave.

I am a non-binary, trans-masc writer. I work to dismantle internalized structures of oppression, such as the gender binary, class, and race. My writing is personal but anecdotally points to a larger political picture of systemic injustice.
