A fragile comfort, for tears to dry

A gentle embrace, for a hurting soul

A temporary solace, to make us whole

It wraps around us, like a tender hug

A fleeting peace, in a world that's rough

A disposable friend, that's always near

A quiet listener, that wipes away our fear

Its translucent layers, like the pages of our heart

A delicate strength, that sets us apart

It absorbs our pain, like a silent friend

A tissue paper, that till the end

A brief reprieve, from life's turbulent release

For in its softness, we find a gentle grace

A tissue paper, that wipes away our tears and space.
