Timeless

A plaintive muse

By Madhu Goteti Published 2 months ago • 1 min read

Verbless in time as in a plaintive muse,

Or to be twice born and seen as someone new

Yet —still, as pointedly as in terms of an eternal spruce

What's an evergreen, fading over edges, yet, like a green bloom coming out of the woods.

It’s like verbless in time as in a plaintive muse,

Of souls ridden in a reckless luge

Above all shades gliding past those earthly dues

Much like as you and me incessantly standing by thro'n thro'

Only to be graced or still yet, loved by the 'nature's grove

It’s much like verbless in time as in a plaintive muse,

Oft where unceasing fountains chute up to the ephemeral views

All set up in the transparencies of moments casted over hazy dues

In this reside—me and mine, with the uttermost ye and you ; all mixed up and lingering awhile like some blended hues ...

Thusly isn't this endless stream so true;

It’s like verbless in time as in a plaintive muse,

About the Creator

Madhu Goteti

The thrums in the strums and the delights in the humdrum of life have always fascinated me.

It’s that feast of reason and flow of soul; in all that I see and all that I shall behold!

I am an avid lover of art and philosophy!
