TIME
A few moments of living,
Precious are the smiles,
Danger in this world's pressures,
Can you remain for a while?
--
Strangers as we approach
Our shadows embrace
Shared an askewed glance
All vanish, sans a trace.
--
A whistle in the dark.
Starry, foggy, dreary night,
Sauntering, seemingly strolling
Straying out of sight.
--
Yearning for a moment,
Grasping at that smile,
Straws that elude me.
Can you stay for a while?
--
I pause mid step
Hoping you’d stop as well
Turning with anticipation
I feel our heartswell.
--
You're my unchained melody,
A sight for lust drawn eyes,
A moment seemingly forever,
Awaiting your breathless sighs.
