The gears are always winding
As the hands turn
Tick and Tock
An important asset that is taken for granted
To others, its just the time of day,
For me its an opportunity open
Anytime lost is gone forever
Anytime wasted is an opportunity missed,
A chance to get to know someone,
A second off your life.
Time is to be cherished,
Not to lose in space.
This is the greatest thing I have
And I don’t have enough.
So, when you sit there
Listening to that annoying
Tick Tock
Send it my way
Cause time…no time
Is to be wasted
