Time's not in my Favour

nature love.

By Eiman AsifPublished 27 days ago 1 min read

I have never seen anything, as beautiful as the rustling trees,

I never loved anyone but have given my heart to the night breeze.

I have never been gentle but just towards a little leaf,

I experienced a great pain but shared with a tree all my grief.

I have only wished for a life in which I can be free,

I see only sweet dreams where I just hug a tree and feel the glee.

I wish to meet a true Saviour,

Cause Time's not in my Favour.

When i wish to start a voyage towards a garden,

My mum calls over and piles of works! What a burden!

When i wished to hug my beloved tree,

People think I am a lunatic with mind so free.

Yeah, its true I am a lover for nature...

But that's only because unlike human they are the only harmless creature.

I write when I feel,

And 24 by 7 I am writing, oh tree help me heal.

All Green nature, no people around, only me.

A tree, a grass, a plant and only me.

But Alas! Time's not in my Favour,

oh, Time you are way too clever!
