Changes Need to be Made Now
Earth, our only home,
Is getting warmer each day.
Now’s the TIME for change!

We human beings have long enjoyed the gifts and bounty of Mother Earth!
She has given us life, sustenance, and comfort.
Asking so little in return.
Like clean living.
Honest and responsible stewardship of her rich gifts.
We must wake up NOW and take care of our Mother before irreparable damage is done.
The above Haiku poem has been written for entry into the Vocal+ Haiku Challenge beginning on February 9, 2023 and ending on February 28, 2023.
