Breathe in

closed eyes

relax, relax your face

let your shoulders drop away

down from your ears

/

Breathe out

\

Breathe in

let the muscle ache fade

let your body relax

let yourself stop preparing for the worst

let breath flow, let muscles loosen

let your lunges expand

/

Breathe out

\

Breathe in

take your time

make a list

not everything all at once

take bites, take sips

/

Breathe out

\

Breathe in

remember sleep

make time for rest

find comfort in the letting

go of destructive selflessness

relax, warm baths

comfy blankets

/

Breathe out

\

Breathe in

take a nap, a rest, a deep breath

let your eyes slip closed

sleep in and enjoy it

find the time for you

/

Breathe out

\

Breathe in

put the phone down

let the screen go blank, go black

open your chest

let the muscles loosen

let your eyes rest

/

Breathe out

\

Breathe in

embrace the discomfort

feel the pain and then let it go

let the aches fade out

let the pain fade

let the tightness and overthinking

trickle out of your head

/

Breathe out

\

Breathe in

let your lunges expand

let yourself stop preparing for the worst

let breath flow, let muscles loosen

stretch, like a cat if you’ve gotta

reach for the clouds and let your roots

grow down into the soil

/

Breathe out

\

Breathe in

closed eyes

relax, relax your face

let your shoulders drop away

down from your ears

/

Breathe out
