Planetary Poetry 002: The Reign of Jupiter.

Jupiter is the ruling planet of Sagittarius. The planet that *almost* became a star.

I’m expanding, sometimes outside of my own control.

I’m not the furthest away, but I come in and out of your rotation, so I may seem cold.

In reality, I posses steady warmth behind my rib cage.

I may seem gassed up after you realized you passed up an opportunity to come along with me...

To put yourself in the position to embrace the storm, to be ignited by my heat, to harness the wind and let it launch you further into yourself even it’s farther away from me..

I’m expanding and compressing at will. I’ve been solid, so I’m welcoming the flexibility of liquids and gases.

I’m not always quiet, yet I’m eternally contemplative.

My magnetism brings many moons, many faces, and phases.

I’m exploring each one that descends in my orbit. That survives my lightening. I am cosmic glue, but I’m never stuck! If I get any bigger, I’d be a star.

So pardon me, if I seem out of reach.
