Through the Seasons of Us

A poem on people, memories, and letting go

By Rohitha LankaPublished about a year ago • 1 min read

Throughout... ''our lives''

Many people... have come and gone

Many are ''still here''

Many are ''gone''

From people who... ''don't know''

Become... ''familiar''

From people... ''close''

Become... ''people who don't know each other anymore''

It’s ''normal''

For... human relationships

There are meetings, getting to know, being apart, and parting

There is love, hate, sometimes liking, sometimes angry

''going around'' until...

We ''don't exist'' in this world

''it's important'' that... When we're together

How do we ''create memories together''

If... we're good to each other

It's... good memories

If... we're bad to each other

It's... memories that are not worth remembering

If we still have a ''chance to live''

Let's be good to each other... Let's leave it at that

... Later...

''time and age'' that increase

Make us... Forget it anyway

Space..''Memory''..people are limited

Don't... keep bad things or... bad feelings

too much..

For everyone...who has come into my life

''Sorry''..for many things

And...''Thank you''..for everything

We...will continue to live our lives to have..''happiness''

Hope...you too...
