Through the Eyes

Pure truth lies in the eyes, for the eyes are not a good artifice.

By Tessa CanadayPublished 8 years ago 1 min read

Pure truth lies in the eyes,

For the eyes are not a good artifice.

They show true emotion, When our words purposefully mislead.

There is no other notion than to show a window through deceit.

The eyes, they invite new love in. They laugh and smile

They also show true sadness once in a while.

Upon that sole blue moon of ironic blueness of a soul

The eyes scream out the heartache one wishes to hide and control.

They light up in love and grow by miles a minute

When looking at the one you love they want to engulf all of it.

They show spite towards the ones you loath,

Without the holder of these miraculous golbes ever the wiser.

The eyes are the speaker of truth, whether you want to accept it or consider yourself higher.

To know the truth of the ones you care about who try to protect you,

Simply look into their eyes and all you need to know will be looking back at you in the color of brown, green or blue.
