Through the Blood That Flows

Something moves within my veins,

A quiet rhythm soft and deep,

It hums beneath the skin I wear,

It stirs the heart I try to keep.

It feels like light beneath the dark,

Like fire hidden under skin,

It whispers through the silent hours,

And calls me back to where I’ve been.

You are the one of my dreams,

The reason every heartbeat sings,

You flow through me like morning rain,

And melt the frost that sorrow brings.

Each thought of you becomes a pulse,

Each memory a tender flame,

And through this blood that ever flows,

I breathe the echo of your name.

It never ends it never fades,

An endless stream that binds us two,

For in this life and those beyond,

My soul forever runs to you.
