Through the Black

where tears don't cry

Will you meet me on the other side,

Through the black, where tears don't cry.

Hardened heart and the fears you fight

lessons learned, if only you see the light.

Parables of treacherous times; limitless sight, and sudden disquiet.

Do you care to hear the truths that speak?

Where others have tried, you will not be weak.

Silence can be deafening, so harken within -

Sometimes even the blind have better sight!

If life is a gaffe, eternal abyss

Our existence a mistake, a flawed bliss...

I choose to be eternal, an aberration.

My light will shine brighter than bright.

As a pathetic state fades into oblivion,

mine will rise and burn; radiant illumine.

Take my hand, the left mightier than the right.

Through the black, where tears don't cry

Hardened heart and the fears you fight.

Lessons learned, if only you see the light.
