Bring Me Closer to Compassion
He sweats, he pours his energy out
Give it your all they imply, don't rely on help
Sacrifice your blood, die for your family
Press harder, better not give up
Reflect less heart, give more and more
Are you empty yet? Doesn't matter keep going
Pressure is here to make sure of that
Never leaving, will you transform?
You're ready to break out of this social prison of expectations
Remake your compassion hidden and pushed back into you
All of it still exists and you're such a strong soul
You've trained yourself to be unbeatable
Now its time to become the loving person you were always meant to be
Expect the unexpected and give in to the bliss so you can help others
(I want this to transform the way you see men and others like them)
(Similar things happen to everyone I just wanted to express it through the eyes of a man)

Before the last 6 months, I hadn’t written anything that wasn’t for my job or university for a number of years. I wanted to write more, I used to write all the time just for fun. I used to write poems and short stories that were just for me. I used to show them to certain members of my family but it was the process of writing them that I really enjoyed.
