thoughts…

… before I go to sleep

the bleak sun casts its shadow through the blinds

in my bedroom, empty

are my bones

my head

went haywire too often

my legs

too tired to lift them off the ground

that shadow of a previous life

will never go away

for good

parachute

I have to stick to it now

I feel like someone

thrown from the plane

I can’t breathe, I’m suffocating

among people from my past

the current ones will never last

too

being only a perfect duplicate of them

so, I’m alive

in the present or in the past?

I do not know that

as my head produces more and more prints

I try to scramble within

the usual grounds

then they will turn around

and new ones will appear in the air

asking me to acknowledge them

with all the honours as if they were

queen

will I ever be free from them?
