Those delicate threads tore apart again

Say It Again

Those thin threads have snapped again

How fragile they always were

Flimsy, severed one by one

Until nothing remained, a pure, white void

Those delicate threads tore apart again

They have nowhere to flee, invisible to all

Once they danced, strolled, and spoke with passion

That was cut short, no one wants to hear it anymore

What was once pure, naive goodness

Has transformed into a treacherous web

Those delicate threads tore apart again

Nothing can mend them, for every time

Someone draws near, there appear

Only intentions misdirected

Toward paths that have withered and vanished

Those delicate threads tore apart again

Whenever you want to ask why

Only one answer sprouts up

No one was there when everything went wrong

Everyone wanted to exploit the situation for their own stupid ends

As usual, exploit it and get away with it

A tale as old as time; there’s no need to question it

Those delicate threads tore apart again

They fly freely now, high and powerfully

No one can touch them, and yet

Everything touches them, invisible to those

Who should be here, but are not
