This

line

I screamed into the void so deep,

but hands around me made it sleep.

i’m not a hero.

i’m breath between the words unsaid,

a scar that stitches thread by thread

with anger’s thread so thin, so tight,

still holding on to shards of light.

i’m not a flame,

not star, not spark, not holy fire.

i’m ember-born from fear’s desire,

still burning low, but burning true

my fire belongs to no one’s view.

and this line not a scar, but God's own mark.

not just the pain

but proof I walked the dark.
