This Time

Drunk on the feeling of gratitude after having found that upward running escalator

The person in question, attempted too much too soon

So then that person went tumbling

But not all the way to the bottom

The person in question was not yet ready to find an easier ascension

That realistically took into consideration

That said person’s readiness to make the uplifting and rewarding experience

But, that person, would rise slower, yet higher this time

All the way to the peak of a green mountain

Beyond the call of the Cicadas

Just after a small rest

And reflecting on what not to do this time

A new plan for navigation

Is falling into place
