THIS IS NOT WHO YOU ARE
You are so much more
The shadows whisper, the dark voices call,
Telling you lies, that you're worthless, small.
But their cruel falsehoods will not define,
The truth of your spirit, your heart's radiant shine.
You're more than the wounds, the scars they have shown,
You're more than broken, you're more than alone.
There's a light in your soul, as eternal as dawn,
Of compassion and kindness, and beauty aglow.
Like the sun still abiding, behind clouded skies,
Your bright essence lives, and it will rise.
Though sorrows may veil it, can't extinguish the spark,
This agony shall pass, for light conquers the dark.
The transient afflictions, the doubts and heart aches
Are not who you are, they're just passing lakes
Of a fathomless ocean, storms will clear,
And reveal your infinity, your rain as a seer.
Your transcendent spirit, a radiance supreme,
Is all that you are, is all that you've been.
Dive into your depthless divinity now,
And emerge in your splendor, your eternally wow!
Be not the suffering self, the wounded and pained,
Be the hero inside, joy, peace and truth regained.
Your boundless compassion, your strength and love
This is who you truly are, an gift from above!
So pause not at surfaces, mirages of sorrow,
Your soul is your being, today, now, and morrow.
Your wounds and your weaknesses, shall fade like the mist,
But you, you shall shine on, sunlit apex of bliss!
