This Is Not Love

Abuse

By Meghan rossPublished 9 years ago • 1 min read

I sold my soul to ignorance caught by the

hand prints you'd leave across my face.

I'd lie just to keep people from prying into

my disgrace I call life. The questions

always came but I'd play them off as if it

were a game. This isn't how things should

be and I wonder how things could be, if I

just had the courage to say you are a

bad habit I cannot get rid of. The mess you

made me into would never fade, I stayed

silent all that time or you would get violent.

To scared to say but I cannot wait for the

day where I can just leave cause you are

like a disease I was bound to get so when I

say bye if I say bye just think about the last

time you hit me because you're going to

miss me.
