~ This Is Not a Love Song!~

I met this guy in my hitch hiking travels back when I was 19 and he could play guitar, and I began to dream about an affair that included our talents, my songs put to his playing skills and this is the song that was born from it! Nothing ever did become of it, I lived briefly as his neighbor in the same apt that summer and we hung out together a few times. But life quickly moved on! Enjoy! For the Album: Blue Cries, from the box set: Melodies of Israel!

~ This is not a Love Song ~

Verse 1...

This is not a love song

But I’ve got to let you know

I’ve got these feelings

That are starting to grow,

I need someone to hold on to

And never let me go,

Vers 2...

I’ve been hurt to many times before

To let it happen anymore,

But suddenly I’ve found

I’m spending all my time with you

And now my heart is thinking that it’s

Time for something new,

Chorus...

Please,

Never let me go

Never let me go

Never let me go

Verse 3...

With my heart now on the line

Please tell me that it’s true

When I spend this time with you

That you’re feeling something too?

Chorus...

Please,

Never let me go

I’ll Never let you go

If you Never let me go

So please Never let me go

Never let me go

Never let me gooooo!

The End!
