…Tell me this is not a Dream

They had been in bed for many hours

making love

on off throughout the night

he looked over

to watch as she slept

her eyes slowly opened

to catch his glance

Tell me this is not a dream,

he said

She smiled,

and said even if it was a dream

they were still together

Tell me this is not a dream,

he said again

This is not a dream,

she said,

for if it was, you would awake now

And with that he awoke

to find her passionately kissing him awake

She looked deep into his awakening eyes
