I took a pill of sadness,

Tried to drown my pain,

I danced the dance of madness,

Trying to erase the shame,

I looked around for hope,

And clashed with truth,

I tried to hold the end,

Of a winding rope,

I tried to change a bit and scream for joy,

I was knocked to the ground, and a voice said, 'It's a ploy.'

You can try all you want, but you are here to stay.

This is hell, my darling,

You'll never get away.
