Thirsty Moon

thirsty moon

about the orgin

of a solar system

where she is not the middle

nor the center

nor does she ride the circumference

too hard to break around

or to be thrown into

and if I speak in a metaphore

i feel closer to myself

and farther from my thoughts

like i can't spell

i cherish the moon

the sea the sun

the wind that hits my cheeks

the rain that will drop with me

whether or not i am alone

maybe i am a coward

to my own self

to my place

because it is big

and i might be small

and i will grow

because time will always be linear

to melt into larger space

and expand my purpose

which expands on its own

while i ride the circumference

or break into the middle

as i stay thirsty
