Third Grade

A Poem

Third Grade | A Poem | Christopher Dubbs

I missed almost all of third grade

Hiding the marks from his belts

How many days?

How many days does it take for them to fade away?

Longer than today

Maybe tomorrow

You know they never stay

I lost almost all of my friends from third grade

Trapped at home covered in his welts

How many days?

How many days does it take for them to fade away?

Longer than today

Maybe tomorrow

You know they never stay
