Thief of Love

The story I never told you.

I have borrowed memories from those who close their eyes when they kiss, stolen the melting substance that unites lovers.

I have ripped off the tears of unrequited love from those virgin faces. I have walked on the footprints of those too scared to give life a chance.

I have learnt the physics behind object falling due to gravity but I'm still wondering what is that force that drags me down, that force that makes fall for you every time I close my eyes when I kiss you, every time I feel we become a single breath, every time I cry tears of unrequited love, every time I walk trying not to follow the footprint of my past.

I know I am a thief but you should that I'm stealing because I want to know what it feels to hold the most precious thing on the tip of your tongue when I can lay my name next to yours.
