this is how saying that makes me feel

They say I have great skin

with a gentle kind of reverence.

They don't know the half of it.

There's a placid, powerful resonance

with the values that we hold.

They say I have great skin

without seeing how it ties to culture

sound and touch. These ways are manifold

and they don't know the half of it.

Of course I'm (humbly) proud of it

but this pride is quite controlled

they say. I have great skin.

It comes with power and sweetness,

stories told and untold.

They don't know the half of it

but as we solve that weakness it

heals worlds with growing completeness.

They say I have great skin.

They don't know the half of it.

About the Creator

Cellestine Aggrey

I want to know what it took the best writers to get good. I'm curious. The minute Shakespeare, WC Williams, T Hughes, CA Duffy had done their best work must have felt like sky diving. We all should know what that deep catharsis feels like.
