they Must Be Many

who see my colors like I see my colors

By Lily KopsPublished 5 years ago 3 min read

I heard something said once

but this isn’t a

Direct Quote

this isn’t an

Exact Quote

it’s just what I remember it meaning

For Me

but, anyways

I heard something said once

actually many times

by many people

in many Different Ways

something about how

people have Auras

like their soul

has an Aura

and that Aura has a Color

so people have like

A Color

or Colors

I doubt the rules are that strict

to limit how many Colors a person has

especially cause people are Complex

Internally

Physically and Metaphorically

but, anyways

I heard that people have Colors

that match them

their Soul

their Core

their, you know

True Colors

as Cyndi Lauper said

and I think I like that idea

I think it’s comforting

to have a Deep Internal Tie to something like that

'cause Colors

they’re everywhere

they’re such a big part of the world

they are the world

in its very makeup

and so to be tied to a Color

Deep in your soul

well that’s a tie to the world

Right?

that’s Grounding

that makes you a part of its make up

No?

but, anyways

I find it comforting

grounding

And I wonder what my Color

or Colors

Is

Are

and who can see them in me

for what they are

who can see my colors

if that makes sense

Because

I heard another thing said once

maybe many times

I heard another thing asked once

Do People All See Colors The Same?

like

is My Red the same as Someone Else’s Red?

Your Red?

and I think that’s interesting

Because

and I might not be right

but

what even is right,

Right?

right, anyways

I might not be right

but I think we probably don’t

see all Colors the same

and some people see them less the same than others

like, if you’re colorblind you see colors

it’s just More Not The Same than others

and even people who aren’t colorblind

they may all be able to identify the same Red

because they’ve been told it’s Red

but maybe that Red is still different than another’s Red

does that make sense?

maybe all the things that You see as Red

I still would call Red

but that Red looks different for Me than You

and We would just

Never Know

cause I can’t see with Your Eyes

and You can’t see with Mine

but, anyways,

let me bring it Back

'cause there’s a Bigger Point

that I’ve been thinking about

because

if we Add these two Things

that I heard Someone

Many People

say Once

Many Times

what if

what if

what if

We see each other’s Souls

Auras

Differently

because we see Colors Differently

so maybe my soul is

Light Green

with a Pulsing Burnt Orange

and we can both

Call It That

and at the same time

See It

See Me

Feel It

Feel Me

Understand It

Understand Me

Differently

and I think that might be it

and I think that’s natural

and I think that’s why sometimes

even if you bare your soul to another

they might still misunderstand it

'cause they see Red Differently

and that’s no one’s fault

it’s not the fault of Your Eyes

or My Eyes

or Their Eyes

it’s natural

and it can hurt

when what you bare

is not what they receive

when your Light Green and Pulsing Burnt Orange

is seen as Hot Pink and Vibrating Burgundy

because that’s not you

but they can’t see that

and it’s no one’s fault

just a misunderstanding

but it can hurt

and that’s natural

because

with All The People In The World

they Must Be Many

who see Red the way You Do

and see your Light Green and Pulsing Burnt Orange Soul Aura

the way It Is

the way It Exudes from you

and I find that Comforting
