The Other had a dream

One changed into someone different

One, an imposter

An enemy from The Other’s past

There are some experiences we never recover from

So, The Other woke up feeling repulsed

The Other accused One of wallowing in self pity

But with the recent patterns in One’s life

There was every reason to be sad

But, The Other was in defence against One’s pretence

Of heart felt appreciation

And The Other is aware of the crimes of One

The memory of One

When they were friends

Will always hold The Other in awe

With One’s hypnotic charm

Did The Other, pick up the energies?

Did The Other awake to an imposter?

Who was of the same intent

As the enemies from the past?

The Other perceived One was no longer as One was

No longer a reciprocity of appreciation

Perhaps just something superficial

Or maybe One, in the past, was just feeling charitable.

To plough a fertile field

As in when The Other was hypnotised by those eyes

While One added another line to One’s scores

And although The Other understands

What was psychically perceived

In regards to how One projected

The false beliefs of the enemies of The Other

But the memory of One

As One used to be

They can’t take that away
