There's No Road Past No

For the boys who aren't listening.

There's no

And there's hell no

There's no road past no

It means it's a no-go

Open your ears, you little beasts

Even a yes can be pulled away

Let not your urges and immaturity be

All you're remembered for someday

Stand up and show support

Get in the middle of it if you can

When it comes to no

There's nothing keeping you from being a better man

In the absence of a yes

It's not an invitation to undress

There'll be no defence

When you say you took a guess

Drunk and immature

It's a mistake your sister could make

Even if she's unsure

Let those little swimmers bake

And for all the self-entitled

And those who would protect them

Remember what they did

When they're whining from prison

Realizing they're no longer a kid

Open the doors for the stories sooner

Make those with something to say safe

Give the evil doers no safe harbor

And show them early what price they'll pay

The price of an education

Should not be a bodily violation

The cost of just being

Shouldn't be this

It happens too often

So tell the world in the strongest of words

You're not on their sides

There's no road past no

When it comes to taking what you want

That should be with you being free

And not paying a price

So remember boys

The golden rule of no

Listen, and be nice

And if she didn't say yes

Don't just take a guess

A cold shower won't hurt

But one in prison

You become the special shower room guest
