with my heart in my hand

i cling onto this ledge

but with nowhere to stand

i lean out over the edge

i've no wings to fly

and no will left to live

though i don't want to die

i've got nothing to give

my toes dug in deep

as the ground gives away

listen, as the ravens sing

at my unintentional grave
