Theme in Half Green/Kind of Blue

I hear

In the fallen leaves

Sweeping in the wind

With halfway colors

Once a tonic center green

And the blue in me

Feels the same strangeness

I’m a Tennessee fall

Too quick in the change

To winter coats they didn’t
