The curtains rise, the lights dim low,
The audience hushes, ready for the show.
The stage is set, the actors appear,
The magic of theatre is finally here.
The sound of music fills the air,
The actors move with grace and flair.
Their voices strong, their movements precise,
The audience watches with wide eyes.
The story unfolds, scene by scene,
Emotions rise, tension keen.
Laughter, tears, gasps and sighs,
The audience feels, with heart and eyes.
The sets transform, the costumes change,
A new world created on the stage.
From comedy to tragedy, the play goes on,
The theatre experience, never gone.
The final bow, the applause loud,
The actors take their final proud.
The audience cheers, the cast takes leave,
The magic of theatre, never to grieve.
A day at the theatre, a gift indeed,
A moment to cherish, a memory to keep.
Theatre, a form of art, a story to tell,
A world to experience, an emotion to dwell.
