Goodbye

The year 2020 we had to deal with a global pandemic and racism that is systemic.

We had to deal with a narcissistic president who thinks no one is better than him, a president that lied to us every chance he got and did not care if he got caught.

The year 2020 killed so many people whether it was Covid-19 or a trigger-happy cop,

As we watched George Floyd take his last breath, we all knew this shit had to stop.

Black lives matter, or so we thought.

White supremacist were encouraged to stand by, by our own president.

Mexicans were told not to come here. that we do not want them as residents, our president tried putting up a wall to keep them out, what the fuck was that all about?

So many Americans began to struggle, not able to put food on their tables.

The world around us came to a complete stop, the lives we once knew we had to drop.

We were all stuck inside our homes afraid to step outside, all the while not really understanding why?

Many people refused to wear their protective masks just because they did not want to be told what to do by the government and in return Covid continued to spread and more Americans ended up dead.

Crooked politicians, a racist lying president, police brutality, what in the world happened to humanity?

In November we elected a new president and the world celebrated but Mr. Trump refused to accept it.

Get out of the white house sir you have been rejected!!

Americans wish to leave 2020 behind and welcome 2021 with open minds.

May this year be better than the last and Biden will still be the new president after recounting every vote that was cast.

So, shut up Trump your time as president has come to an end please pack your bags and don’t look back, it is time to get America back on track.
