She has felt immense pain.
She has suffered so.
Oh how she has suffered!
She has lost and grieved so many times she has lost count.
She has been through many tough times.
Experiences that would have left most others in the greatest of despair.
Loneliness had become her friend.
Guilt and shame knocked on her door often.
She smiled…. even when she wanted to cry.
And it is because of all of this, that all those that stay a while with her, release their pain; Her healing heart the alchemist.
Her brokenness bestowed upon her great compassion, grace and gratitude for each and every one of her struggles.
Every challenge opening her heart wider; blessing her with unconditional love.
She was the wounded healer.
And I do not regret one single moment.
