The World of Absurdity

Where Anything and Everything is Possible

There once was a world full of absurdity,

Where things happened with great regularity,

Cats could talk and dance,

And men wore skirts and prance,

All in the name of pure hilarity.

The sky was pink and the grass was blue,

And elephants flew, as if on cue,

Fish walked on land,

And monkeys played in a brass band,

In this world of absurdity, anything could ensue.

The sun rose in the west and set in the east,

And people would feast on a savory yeast,

Cars flew through the air,

And birds had fancy hair,

In this world of absurdity, reality had ceased.

The moon was made of cheese and stars of candy,

And the ocean was filled with soda brandy,

Trees grew upside down,

And clowns wore a frown,

In this world of absurdity, everything was dandy.

So if you ever find yourself feeling dull,

Just imagine a world full of absurdity to lull,

Where nothing makes sense,

And everything's immense,

In this world of absurdity, you'll always feel full.

In this world, rules do not apply,

Gravity, time and space defy,

A spoon may sing a song,

And a chair may dance along,

In this world of absurdity, you cannot deny.

A chicken may cross the road to catch a plane,

Or a penguin may live in a dessert domain,

A cow may climb a tree,

And a bee may drink tea,

In this world of absurdity, things are not in vain.

The clouds may turn into jellybeans,

Or a bicycle may fly to the moon and back, it seems,

A shoe may wear a hat,

And a rat may drive a cat,

In this world of absurdity, it's not what it seems.

So if you're ever feeling down and blue,

Just let your imagination run through,

And enter this world of absurdity,

Where nothing's ever taken seriously,

And you'll discover a new outlook that's true.

In this world, logic is upside down,

And chaos is always around,

A giraffe may have stripes of blue,

And a kangaroo may have wings to pursue,

In this world of absurdity, fun is always found.

A tree may grow shoes instead of leaves,

And a ghost may be afraid of thieves,

A frog may drive a car,

And a snail may play guitar,

In this world of absurdity, nothing ever leaves.

In this world, reality is just a game,

And absurdity is its true name,

A pencil may draw itself,

And a book may read itself,

In this world of absurdity, nothing's the same.

So if you ever need to escape,

Just enter this world with no shape,

Where the absurd is the norm,

And the mundane is the storm,

In this world of absurdity, there's no need for an escape.

Here, a rainbow may be black and white,

And a day may last throughout the night,

A tiger may wear a bow tie,

And a fish may learn how to fly,

In this world of absurdity, imagination takes flight.

A house may have wheels and wings to soar,

And a turtle may run faster than a lion's roar,

A clock may tick backward in time,

And a mountain may have a bell that chimes,

In this world of absurdity, surprises galore.

In this world, there are no limits or bounds,

And laughter echoes in the background,

A caterpillar may be as big as a whale,

And a snail may leave behind a glittery trail,

In this world of absurdity, happiness abounds.

So come along and join the fun,

Let your imagination run and run,

In this world of absurdity, anything goes,

And creativity flows and flows,

Let your mind be free and let the absurdity won!

In this world, the impossible is the norm,

And the unexpected is the standard form,

A tree may have roots in the sky,

And a bird may swim rather than fly,

In this world of absurdity, nothing conforms.

A waterfall may flow uphill,

And a cupcake may drink milk to its fill,

A cloud may rain confetti,

And a banana may be a yeti,

In this world of absurdity, there's no time to chill.

In this world, reason takes a backseat,

And nonsense is always upbeat,

A car may run on ice cream,

And a pencil may be part of a dream,

In this world of absurdity, the wackiness is a treat.

So don't be afraid to let go,

And embrace the absurdity flow,

In this world where nothing is mundane,

And the unexpected is just part of the game,

Let your mind wander and your spirit glow.

In this world, the serious is a bore,

And the normal is shown the door,

A cloud may have the shape of a shoe,

And a door may open into a world that's new,

In this world of absurdity, everything is more.

A cake may be the size of a house,

And a cat may bark instead of meow,

A tree may sing a song,

And a person may dance all day long,

In this world of absurdity, life is a rouse.

In this world, the unexpected is the rule,

And the logical is considered a fool,

A potato may be a work of art,

And a smile may be worth more than a heart,

In this world of absurdity, imagination's the tool.

So come and join the fun and play,

In this world of absurdity, where nothing's cliche,

Let your mind take a leap,

And your heart skip a beat,

For in this world of absurdity, you're here to stay.

For in this world, there's always more to see,

And the absurd is where you're meant to be,

So let your mind roam free and wild,

And enjoy the ride, like a little child,

In this world of absurdity, you're truly free.
